The Discord bot
Bot Terms of Service
What the bot does in the group's Discord and what is expected of you when you use it.
Last changed 7 September 2026.
What it does
The Big Bozos bot takes background images for the site. Run /request image with a picture attached and it goes to an administrator for review; approved images take their turn behind the site's main menu. It also answers a couple of common questions on its own and reports whether it and the site are alive.
Nothing you send reaches the site until a person has pressed Approve.
What you agree to when you submit
By sending an image you are saying that:
- You made it, or you are allowed to submit it and to have it shown on the site.
- It is not sexual, hateful, or illegal, and it is not somebody's private photograph.
- You are not flooding the queue with submissions.
Review and refusal
An administrator approves or refuses each image, and the bot sends you a direct message either way. A refusal may carry a reason.
Breaking the rules above can bar your Discord account from submitting, for a day, a week, a month, or for good. An approved image can also be retired from the pool later without warning.
Your image on the site
An approved image stays yours. You are giving the group permission to show it as a site background for as long as it is in the pool. Ask an administrator and it will be taken out.
As it is
The bot is run by volunteers on a machine somebody owns. It goes offline sometimes, and there is no promise that it will keep running or keep working the same way. To the extent the law allows, nobody running it is liable for anything that follows from using it.
Discord's rules come first
Discord's own terms and guidelines apply to everything you do in the server, including with the bot.
